Static Mixers And Heat Exchanges

Overview:

Static mixers are used for continuous mixing of liquids or gases, the principle of operation is the fluid diverted into two separate streams, the static helix pitch creates rotation of the fluid, which moves from the outside to the inside with different velocity that creates shearing of the fluids.

The static mixer has a tube with static helix placed with the length of the tube, various connections can be offered.

The mixers can be manufactured from stainless steel or polypropylene, many can be supplied on short deliveries.

Heat exchanges can be supplied as one tube or multiple tubes with an outer jacket, (depending on application).
Advanced connection technology between the tube wall and the mixer helix results in 20 to 100% improvement in heat transfer compared to conventional heat exchangers.
The heat exchanges can be used to heat or cool fluids.

Advantages:
  • Suitable for hygienic process
